We love getting feedback at ZURB. Feedback is the difference between bad products and good products, between good products and great products. Feedback helps you create incredible services for users, and helps you get paid for creating them.
Getting feedback early can be one of the most beneficial things you can do, and in fact it's why we created Verify. However, it's not just Verify that you can use to get early feedback — Notable is also a great tool for getting feedback from your team before you've built anything or even mocked anything up.
Sketches and Notable
When we were redesigning Notable for our launch back in March we knew there were things we wanted to improve. Rather than diving into code we went back to part of our process - rapid sketching and iteration. We sketched out hundreds of screens with different variations, language, functions, the works. And we needed feedback from the team.
You can check out one of our sets from the redesign, showing some of the changes we were going to make to the posts page. Jeremy made notes directly on the sketch, and then again with Notable to show some proposed changes and ideas. Our feedback on these and other screens helped us define the new Notable.
What are you using Notable for?
Notable was built to quickly give feedback on web pages, but it's more than just that. Part of creating great products is working through more than just live sites, and that's why in addition to great browser capture tools we also provide image uploading, PDF/PPT uploading, and desktop capture tools; so you can give feedback on anything, including sketching. If you haven't tried out Notable with sketches, give it a shot. We think you'll like it.
