Before you start making a
Verify test, consider how you're going to share it.
Really try to put yourself in the tester's shoes. Who is it going out to, and what's their attention span likely to be? How detailed should you make the instructions? How much context will people need to understand the test?
If it's a public test going out to an unknown audience try something simple and directed: a click, mood, or memory test. If it's going to your internal team or to people who have a real investment in the project, that's a good opportunity for something more involved like an annotation test.
The better you can tailor your test for the people it's going out to, the better your results are likely to be!
